The first Cyclist arrived in camp at Harvey West Park today at about 10:10 am. The route closed at 7:00 on a sunny day in Santa Cruz and we're all 85 miles closer to Los Angeles. The video team has been shadowing the always-busy Roadies since yesterday morning and put together a great video tribute to the Roadies' hard work and enormous hearts. Gabo and Stephen are in the web tent side-by-side writing their blog entry for today. They tell me it'll be done soon. Judy is also busy typing away after her first day on the road as a cyclist. Drew got into camp early today on his first day as an ALC Roadie. Check out Drew's blog to find out when exactly he expects his breakdown is coming. David writes about his first day on the road as a Cyclist. He said that spent a lot of time thinking about what he was going to write today while he was riding — the things he was ready for and the one surprise he was not. Brian and Jaclyn, our ALC photographers, are combing through hundreds of photos and will have the best of them up for you later this evening.
